Service Platforms – Constable Point and Station North
POLOG invites all projects with activities in North and Northeast Greenland to use our logistical service platforms at Constable Point and Station North.
The vast distances in these regions often involve high transportation cost. The large scale operation and coordination offered by POLOG provides sustainable transport for all types of projects. The platforms are typically open during the short arctic summer in July and August.
POLOG assists all projects in the preplanning phase with budgeting and estimation on transportation costs and provides a broad range of consulting and advisory services.
In the summertime POLOG secures our clients safe and efficient transportation solutions by positioning logistical coordinators on the platform sites, providing all necessary services requested by the projects and coordination of all transportation to, from and within the region of the platforms.
POLOG cooperates with Norlandair and Air Greenland on all the transportation to, from and within North and Northeast Greenland.

The service platform in Constable Point is the gateway into the world’s largest National park.
Constable Point provide full accommodation for all projects, coordination of fixed wing and helicopter operations, handling of passengers and cargo and general services on site.
In cooperation with Norlandair, POLOG carries out one weekly flight with a medium sized aircraft from Iceland to Constable Point during the entire service period (July-August).
POLOG offers a fixed ticket price from all Icelandair destinations in Europe and US to Constable Point.
At Constable Point, a Twin Otter is positioned during the entire season, taking clients further into their final destinations in the vast areas of NE Greenland.
In cooperation with Air Greenland, POLOG coordinates all helicopter activity out of Constable Point. Air Greenland’s Bell 222 is a two engine helicopter, providing good comfort and transport for all projects in request of helicopter.

The service platform at Station North provides full accommodation for all projects, co-ordination of fixed wing and helicopter operations, handling of passengers and cargo and general services on site.
Station North provides transportation to what is probably the most logistical challenging area of Greenland.
In a 4-6 week period, typically primo July to medio August, POLOG operates a platform at Station North. During this period, a Twin Otter is positioned at Station North carrying out all transportation to and from Svalbard and within North Greenland.
The marginal infrastructure in this part of Greenland makes transportation for all types of projects very costly. The existence of the POLOG platform provides large scale operation and sustainable transport for even the smallest projects with limited budgets.
Occasionally, POLOG can also provide helicopter service in this remote part of Greenland.
