Large scale logistical support for exploration activities in North Greenland
POLOG has serviced Ironbark Gold in 2007-09 on all levels in the company’s effort to create a large scale mine in the well known world class Zink deposit at Citronen Fjord, North Greenland.
POLOG's contribution has included camp construction and large scale airlifts both in 2007 and 2008.
A key service was to establish and construct a sea ice runway for a large scale mobilisation programme in 2008.
POLOG has also taken care of all dialogue and communication with authorities such as the Greenland Home Rule, the Danish Defence and the Greenlandic and Danish civil aviation authorities.
