Sebastian Ravn Rasmussen

Mr. Sebastian R. Rasmussen is one of the original founders of POLOG and is now Managing Director and partner. 
Sebastian's primary functions are Logistical Planning and Project Managing. On a daily basis, Mr. Rasmussen is engaged in all detailed logistical planning, sales work and project contact. During large scale and complex operations, Mr. Rasmussen is often directly involved in the operational execution, securing the clients products in minute details with main focus on cost efficiency and supply safety. His broad network secures economic synergy between projects providing significant cost savings.

Relevant experience

• 10 years in the Danish Armed Forces, whereof two years of service in the Arctic special unit, the Sledge Patrol Sirius.
• Seasonally hired as logistics coordinator and assistant by the Danish Polar Center (DPC) from 1999 to 2004.
• Expedition leader for the Northeast Greenlandic Kayak Expedition to NE-Greenland in 2003.
• Project coordinator for a DPC pilot project commissioned by the Bureau of Minerals and Petroleum, Greenland Home Rule, in 2004.
• Logistics and Project Manager and partner of the Polar Logistics Group since 2005.
